Summer Tennis Clinics Are Back! (Verona, NJ)

First Serve Tennis is officially beginning its Junior and Adult Summer Tennis Clinics on June 28th!

Recent college graduates and Co-Directors Aaron Reznik and Matthew Slowinski have been giving private and group tennis lessons for six years to over 300 players. They began running local tennis clinics last summer and are excited to continue building on their past success. Since graduation, they have decided to focus all their efforts on continuing to develop their academy. They continue to partner with Diadem Sports, offering tennis rackets and apparel to their players, have joined UTR (a platform allowing them to run ranked tournaments), and have grown their team of coaches. As Aaron and Matt reflect on their days growing up in Montclair, training, and playing tournaments together since middle school, they are eager to continue sharing their years of tennis experience with their players.

First Serve Tennis will be running junior clinics and adult clinics in Verona, NJ for age groups of 6-9, 10-13, high school/advanced, adult beginner, and adult intermediate players. Coaches will offer private lessons throughout the summer. They will also run a games and fitness session for junior players following certain clinics. Additionally, they will continue to host tournaments for their high school and advanced players, as well as prize-money tournaments for college players and adults. They will also be hosting a Drop-In Morning Yoga Class for adults, lead by well-known instructor Nic Watson. And lastly…they will be starting up pickleball clinics and lessons soon!

Their complete schedule of summer programs is as follows:

6-9 Year Old Clinic (Session 1): 9:30am - 10:30am, Verona Park

6-9 Year Old Clinic (Session 2): 11:00am - 1:00pm, Verona High School

10-13 Year Old Clinic: 11:00am - 1:00pm, Verona High School

High Performance Clinic (Advanced & High School Players): 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Verona High School

*All Junior Clinics will run Monday - Friday from June 28th to August 20th*

Adult Beginner Clinic (Session 2): 3:00pm - 4:00pm, Verona High School (Mondays and Wednesdays)

Adult Intermediate Clinic: 6:00pm - 7:30pm, Verona Park (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
